Airband connection issue – Fixed wireless and 4G

If you have a fixed wireless (AirSpeed) or 4G connection with us and your internet is not working at all, the below can usually help resolve most issues.

Reboot your router

It sounds basic but sometimes, you just have to try the classic on/off again by rebooting your router. To do this, follow the steps below depending on what type of router you have:

Nokia or Linksys router

  1. Locate your PoE unit (black or white box) which should be plugged into a wall near where the cable enters your property
  2. Turn the PoE unit off at the plug and unplug from the wall socket
  3. Remove the Ethernet cable from the LAN port on the PoE unit
  4. Remove the Ethernet cable and power cable from your router
  5. Wait at least 60 seconds
  6. Plug your PoE unit back into the wall socket and turn on
  7. Plug the Ethernet cable back into the LAN port on the PoE unit
  8. Plug the Ethernet cable and power cable back into the router
  9. Check your connection again. Please note: it can take up to 15 minutes for your router to reboot

Cambium router

  1. Turn the router off at the wall and unplug from the socket
  2. Remove the Ethernet cable and power cable from your router
  3. Wait at least 60 seconds
  4. Plug your router back into the wall socket and turn on
  5. Plug the Ethernet cable and power cable back into the router
  6. Check your connection again. Please note: it can take up to 15 minutes for your router to reboot

  3. The MAC address of the router which is located on the base of the router
