Internet Provider Reasserts Commitment to Community Sports Sponsorship
Airband, the rural broadband specialist that brings ultrafast connections to country communities, has renewed its principal partner sponsorship of Hereford’s Westfields Football Club for the 2024-25 football season.
This renewal will see Airband continue to partner with the grassroots community club for a third season. Westfield runs men’s, women’s and junior’s sections including a men’s team that plays in the Hellenic Premier Division at level nine of the English football pyramid and the club has grown considerably in the last two years.
The partnership has contributed to the growth of Westfields’ junior section from 11 to 17 junior girl’s/boy’s teams in the last two seasons with a clearer emphasis on creating a pathway for both boys and girls to eventually play for the club’s senior men and women’s teams.
“Airband is committed to supporting communities across our Midlands heartlands and we’re pleased to have the chance to partner with Westfields FC once more. They are a great community club and central to our sports sponsorship network. We hope the ‘Fields can have a successful season across the men’s, women’s and junior boy’s and girl’s teams,” said James Hyland of Airband.
As part of the Principal partnership, matchday guests can enjoy the Airband Executive Suite where the Player of the Match is awarded each week.
