Airband appoints Kashif Rahman as Chief Executive Officer

Airband is pleased to announce the appointment of Kashif Rahman as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.
Kash has been a driving force in Airband’s growth over the last 18 months, overseeing the introduction of innovative new technologies that have strengthened Airband’s service offering and positioned the company as a unique player in the UK broadband market. His leadership has played a central role in key milestones, including exponential growth in both revenue and net customers and the rollout of award-winning Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) technology, which recently earned Airband the Technical Innovation Award at the Connected Britain Awards.
“I am honoured to take on the role of CEO at such an important time in Airband’s journey,” said Rahman. “We have a clear mission: to connect communities that have been left behind by traditional broadband rollouts. I am excited to build on our strong foundations, accelerate our growth, and continue delivering real value for our customers, partners and the communities we serve.”
As CEO, Kash will focus on driving Airband’s next chapter of growth and innovation, expanding its reach while maintaining the company’s core mission of delivering reliable, high-speed broadband to rural and underserved areas. He will also strengthen partnerships and continue developing a customer-first ethos that has become a hallmark of the Airband brand.
Airband is currently expanding its portfolio of broadband solutions, including gigabit-speed wireless broadband, fibre, 4G, and FTTC, ensuring every customer—no matter their location—has access to affordable, reliable internet.
